Job Details Role Overview: The Senior Engineering Tech Lead is responsible for leading the end‑to‑end application system development and maintenance on large, complex, enterprise‑wide technology platforms. How You Will Make An Impact Develop enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, REST APIs, and Microservices. Implement ORM/JPA/Hibernate models and integrate with relational or NoSQL databases. Build, optimize, and troubleshoot microservices including inter‑service communication and API orchestration. Participate in converting monolithic applications to microservices‑based architectures. Build responsive and high‑performance UI components using JavaScript / TypeScript with Angular or React. Integrate UI with backend services, ensuring security, usability, and reliability. Maintain active relationships with stakeholders to determine business requirements and review designs. Lead requirements gathering meetings and collaborate with digital teams to increase product presence. Anticipate broad technical change and ensure that technology infrastructure stays modern. Prioritize projects and make trade‑offs regarding system changes based on broader business needs. Understand the entire architecture for a major business domain and articulate scaling and reliability limits. Own the change request process and coordinate with other teams as necessary. Develop and own the final list of enhancements. Define application scope and objectives, and supervise the preparation of technical or functional specifications. Perform technical design reviews and code reviews. Ensure unit testing and system testing are completed according to the implementation plan. Participate in developing the multi‑year technology strategy for critical business areas. Partner with technical and non‑technical stakeholders to identify long‑term infrastructure trajectories. Create architecture and anticipate future technology needs. Lead internal conversations about technology direction and drive team consensus for adoption. Coordinate and manage on‑call support and own the system monitoring process. Review and monitor initiatives for end‑to‑end impact and coordination. Participate in review and decision‑making for enterprise solutions. Minimum Requirements Requires a BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field of study. Minimum of 9 years of experience with multi‑dimensional platforms and enterprise applications. An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered. Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences 8 to 10 years of hands‑on development experience in software engineering. Strong background in design, development, architecture, and technical leadership. Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST, Microservices, JPA/Hibernate, and ORM frameworks. Frontend development experience using Angular or React with TypeScript. Hands‑on experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and core DevOps practices. Practical exposure to integrating AI/ML components into enterprise solutions (e.g., predictive models, automation tools, generative AI). Experience evaluating AI frameworks and implementing model inference pipelines. Experience embedding AI into microservices using vector stores, APIs, or cloud AI services.
