Opportunity Highlights Schedule: 8 hours, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (44 week assignment) Job Setting: Hospital, 34 anesthesia rooms Types of Cases: Endoscopy, General, Ortho Credentialing: 90 days (Emergency privileges under 30 days and Temporary privileges 30-60 days available) Responsibilities Pre-anesthesia assessment Obtains and/or verifies patient consent Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition Performance of clinical intervention as needed Minimum Requirements Board Certified/Board Eligible: BCRNA Certifications: Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists Licensure: Current license as a registered professional nurse; Virginia state license (possible to obtain, but ideally would already have) Education: Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education About VISTA Staffing A ClearlyRated Best of Staffing Client and Talent 10-Year Diamond Award winner, VISTA has 30 years of experience optimizing continuity of care for hospitals, medical practices and government agencies across the US.
