Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a meaningful role supporting K-12 students with your expertise as a School Psychologist in a dynamic, hybrid contract position. You'll thrive with a blend of onsite and remote work, making a difference in students’ educational journeys while maintaining work-life balance. This position runs from July 20, 2026, to June 6, 2027, offering a flexible schedule of 35 hours per week, typically across 4-5 days onsite, with one day dedicated to remote responsibilities.
Qualifications:
- Active and valid State of South Carolina School Psychologist license is required
- Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
- Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, administrators, and families
- Familiarity with special education regulations and IEP processes
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and educational assessments for K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized education programs and intervention strategies
- Provide consultation to teachers, staff, and parents regarding student needs and interventions
- Lead and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Support students’ social, emotional, and behavioral health through counseling and evidence-based practices
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
