Cover Driver Responsibilities Typically work 8 to 10 hours per day, Monday-Friday or Tuesday-Saturday depending on operational needs Safely operate UPS package delivery vehicles Deliver and pick up packages while providing excellent customer service Work independently in a fast-paced outdoor environment and in and out of customer locations Meet all UPS driver qualification standards and requirements Occasionally, you may work inside the facility as a Seasonal Warehouse Worker Typically work 3.5 to 5 hours per day, Monday-Friday or Tuesday-Saturday Sort, move, and handle packages in a fast-paced warehouse environment Report on the assigned warehouse shift when not scheduled as a Cover Driver What you'll need: Ability to lift, lower, and carry packages weighing up to 70 lbs. Stamina - this is a workout like no other! Valid driver's license"no CDL required (License type varies by state - proof required to qualify for the position) Satisfactory driving history Pass the DOT physical Pass a UPS driver test Excellent customer contact and driving skills Stamina - this is a workout like no other!
