Maintenance Manager
A growing food manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead plant maintenance operations, improve equipment reliability, and support a safe, efficient production environment. Food manufacturing experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Lead, train, and develop the maintenance team.
- Manage preventive and corrective maintenance programs for production and facility equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automated systems.
- Reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability and plant efficiency.
- Plan and prioritize maintenance activities around production schedules.
- Manage parts inventory, vendors, contractors, and maintenance spending.
- Support equipment installations, upgrades, and capital projects.
- Drive continuous improvement and root cause analysis initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, GMP, food safety, and company safety requirements.
- Partner with production, quality, sanitation, and engineering teams.
Qualifications
- Food manufacturing maintenance experience required.
- Previous maintenance leadership or management experience in a manufacturing plant.
- Strong knowledge of industrial mechanical and electrical systems.
- Experience with preventive/predictive maintenance and CMMS programs.
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
- Ability to lead technicians while remaining hands-on and visible on the plant floor.
- Knowledge of GMP, food safety, LOTO, and OSHA requirements.
- PLC, automation, refrigeration, boilers, or other plant utility experience is a plus.
Compensation
$90,000–$110,000, depending on experience.
