OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Fair Haven, VT by HMD Trucking

Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Vacancy description

Based in Fair Haven, VT, join HMD Trucking to run nationwide dry-van freight as a solo CDL-A OTR driver. You’ll operate long-haul routes, deliver cargo on schedule, and coordinate with dispatch while maintaining safety and equipment standards.

Daily duties:

• Operate company dry-van tractors on linehaul runs and secure loads.
• Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues to in-house maintenance.
• Maintain accurate trip records and communicate delivery status to dispatch.

Requirements:

• Valid CDL-A and a minimum of 12 months verifiable driving experience.
• Professionalism, a safety-first mindset, and a clean driving record.
