Position Overview

The Area Manager serves as the primary point of contact between our clients and company leadership for assigned regional accounts. This role is responsible for overseeing account operations, ensuring contractual compliance, managing regional staffing, and driving quality service delivery. 

Key Responsibilities

• Communication: Maintain timely, proactive communication with corporate leadership, cleaning crews, and clients by promptly responding to calls, text messages, and emails throughout the day. 

• Customer Relations: Build and sustain positive client relationships within the assigned region through regular daily or weekly calls and on-site visits. 

• Accountability & Work Orders: Swiftly follow up on, execute, and collect requested client work orders while maintaining proper company procedures and strict cost controls. 

• Financial Management: Control operational expenses—including labor and supply costs—by conserving resources, eliminating waste, and finding effective ways to save money. 

• Efficiency & Planning: Strategically plan daily schedules to efficiently visit multiple nearby accounts and coordinate the timely delivery of necessary supplies. 

• Recruiting & Hiring: Actively recruit and hire talent on a near-daily basis to cover current or upcoming account needs, ensuring all employment paperwork is completed and submitted to the corporate office prior to staff start dates. 

• Training & Onboarding: Train new and existing staff members on account duties, correct clock-in/clock-out procedures using the "T-Sheets" app to monitor hours and labor costs, and document all training for corporate. 

• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor area supervisors to ensure they understand and properly execute their assigned duties. 

• Contractual & Regulatory Compliance: Monitor accounts to ensure full completion of the contracted scope of work and adherence to all governmental regulations. 

• Payroll Processing: Ensure that all regional payroll is prepared and submitted accurately and on time. 

• Safety & Security: Train and manage employees to adhere strictly to safety standards, quality control, and security processes set by the company, clients, and regulatory agencies. 

• Inventory & Supplies: Manage regional supply levels housed in the office, distribute materials to sites as needed, and submit monthly inventories to corporate for re-ordering. 

• Incident Reporting: Properly document, report, and process any workplace injuries, accidents, or critical incidents.
