As a caregiver, you will provide companionship, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and personal care services to our clients.Responsibilities:Provide services in accordance with an established plan of care, including:Assisting with transferring/moving clients from place to place throughout their homePerforming housekeeping activities, such as vacuuming, dusting, and laundryPreparing meals and snacks according to instructions and specialized dietsAccompanying clients on errands or medical appointmentsPersonal Care: Bathing, Showering, Dressing, Shaving, Assistance with DressingMedication remindersAssisting with prescribed range of motion exercisesDementia careCompanionship activities, such as reading, music, and puzzlesObserve and report changes in the client's condition or intake conditionCheck vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and oxygenAssist with change of ostomy appliancesReinforce dressings (non-sterile)Measure intake and outputQualifications and Skills:High School Graduate or G.E.D Certificate PreferredMust be able to pass a background, fingerprint, and drug screeningAbility to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the jobMust be able to lift or move 50 pounds without assistanceHave a valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation, and current automobile insuranceCurrent and valid CPR and First AidWhat We Offer:Competitive hourly rate of $14 - $17Opportunities to grow in knowledge, expertise, and responsibilityFlexible scheduling, including part-time and full-time optionsAll shifts available, including days, evenings, and weekendsBonuses and incentives for working a variety of shiftsExtra compensation on holidays and weekend differential payBi-weekly paychecksNo trips to the office to drop off paperwork - document on your phone!Professional Caregivers (SUPERHEROS) may be chosen to participate in Nurse-led training to assist in nurse-delegated procedures (dependent on client demand)Why Choose Right at Home Morgantown?We truly believe that where you work matters.
