A pharmacy opportunity is available for a licensed pharmacist to support a specialty pharmacy in the La Crosse, WI area on a 1-year contract. This role combines long-term care and retail pharmacy duties, providing comprehensive pharmaceutical services in a dynamic environment.

Location:
La Crosse, WI

Schedule:

• Monday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Tuesday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescription medications accurately for retail and long-term care patients
• Verify prescriptions and patient information to ensure safe medication use
• Provide patient counseling and support medication adherence
• Manage inventory and coordinate with healthcare providers
• Administer immunizations as required
• Maintain compliance with state pharmacy regulations and company policies

Qualifications:

• Active Wisconsin Pharmacist License (candidates with pending Act 10 credentials considered)
• Immunization Certification
• CPR Certification
• PharmD degree or MTM (Medication Therapy Management) Certification preferred
• Experience in retail and long-term care pharmacy settings
