Title: Respiratory Therapist - Day Shift - Full-Time - Bluebonnet - *Commitment Bonus Available* Description: JOB PURPOSE OR MISSION: Provides respiratory therapy and/or performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures related to cardiopulmonary disorder as ordered by physician and in accordance with established standards and practices. The job is performed appropriately for the age population served as defined in the department's scope of service. Essential Job Functions Performs respiratory care procedures independently, including equipment setup, patient monitoring, and collaboration with medical staff. Maintains quality assurance, safety, and infection control policies, including equipment sterilization and medication safety. Provides staff education, mentorship, and resource support through in-services. Performs other duties as assigned. Experience and Requirements One year in acute care hospital preferred. Current Louisiana licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist. CPR certification required; NRP, PALS, and ACLS preferred. Adherence to HIPAA and safety regulations essential. #J-18808-Ljbffr
