Legal Assistant Closings Foreclosure

We're looking for an organized, detail-oriented, and experienced paralegal to play an important role on our legal team. You'll draft closing documents and conduct Co-op closings. You will also assist in our foreclosure department. We will train the right person who has law firm experience in closings for the closing part of the job! Responsibilities: • Drafting closing documents related to Co-op transfers (where the firm is the closing agent for Co-ops). NOTE - IF YOU HAVE DONE RESIDENTIAL MORTGAGE CLOSING DOCUMENTS/CLOSINGS, YOU WILL BE QUALIFIED TO PERFORM THIS JOB • Review lien searches • Conduct closings • Work on the plaintiff's mortgage-type foreclosure documents Qualifications: • Talented communicator and writer • Must have great time-management skills, and organizational skills • 3 years of experience in legal services under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm setting • Transfer Agent closing experience is a plus • Seeking an ambitious individual with a strong work ethic Compensation: $50,000+ DOE
