Description

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients in inpatient or outpatient environments, crafting personalized treatment plans to meet their needs
• Implement therapeutic interventions that enhance mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, physicians, and other rehabilitation specialists, to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Educate both patients and their families regarding therapeutic objectives, discharge planning, and home exercise protocols
• Maintain detailed documentation on assessments, treatments, and patient progress in line with regulatory and institutional standards
• Engage in interdisciplinary meetings and care team rounds to promote cohesive patient care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a similar qualification accredited by the relevant authorities

Certifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Current CPR certification preferred
• Additional specialized certifications (e.g., in geriatrics or neurology) are advantageous but not mandatory
