About the Role
The Company is in search of a VP of Talent, also known as a Talent Champion, to take on the pivotal role of building and leading an elite talent engine. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and executing the company's talent acquisition strategy, with a focus on high-quality, successful hires. This includes working closely with the CEO to define roles for the company's future, hunting for talent globally, and meticulously vetting candidates to ensure the highest standards. The role demands a decisive manager of recruiters, a seasoned executive search operator, and a strategic builder with a proven track record in talent infrastructure rehabilitation. The VP of Talent will also be tasked with managing a team of 8 to 12 professionals, optimizing their output, and enforcing rigorous recruitment procedures. Applicants for the VP of Talent position at the company should have a minimum of 4 years' of experience in recruitment management, with a strong background in executive search and a proven ability to detect and prevent fraud in the hiring process. The role requires a candidate who is operationally and behaviorally aligned with the company's values, including the ability to handle sharp corrections, be a decisive manager, and operate in a high-impact, remote-first environment. The VP of Talent will be expected to take uncompromised ownership of the company's talent acquisition and onboarding architecture, with a clear mandate to achieve and surpass 90% quality successful hires. The ideal candidate will be a strategic partner to the CEO, with a focus on continuous improvement and a commitment to the company's mission of growth and success.
