What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Screen patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors at designated access points while following site protocols for entry, visitor processing, and restricted area access.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site guidelines.
• Assist with monitoring entrances, lobbies, and high-traffic areas to help to deter unauthorized access and support orderly movement throughout the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting conditions, documenting concerns, and communicating security-related issues to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be able to work in a hospital morgue environment.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
• A current guard card and/or license is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
