Are you passionate about supporting nursing students on their journey to success? Join our team as an Academic Support & Simulation Specialist , where you’ll play a critical role in preparing future nurses for both academic achievement and success on the NCLEX-RN exam.

In this role, you’ll partner with academic leadership, faculty, and staff to provide targeted support and individualized coaching for students throughout their program. You’ll work one-on-one and in small groups to assess learning styles, reinforce key concepts, and design personalized remediation plans—helping learners build confidence and clinical competence.

  • Facilitate simulation-based experiences (SBE) and lab activities, including equipment maintenance, ordering supplies, set-up, and clean-up
  • Assist in developing and implementing detailed, clinically based scenarios for simulated learning, including the use of high-fidelity patient simulators
  • Coordinate and supervise lab experiences to ensure students have the opportunity to meet course objectives
  • Staff open lab sessions and provide individual oversight to students during practice and/or remediation of technical nursing skills, as required by course objectives

Collaboration, Communication & Reporting

  • Collaborate with faculty, academic partners, and staff to support student success
  • Communicate and document (report) students’ academic and co-curricular progress toward achievement of student and program learning outcomes to academic leadership (e.g., retention committee)
  • Demonstrate service excellence through friendliness, courtesy, professionalism, effective communication, and a commitment to first-class service for students, team members, and external partners

Additional Responsibilities

  • Comply with all policies and standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Scheduling flexibility required, including evening and weekend hours to support campus and student needs

Why Join Us?

  • Make a meaningful impact on future nurses and patient care outcomes
