Job Summary:
A Surgical Technician, Operating Room Technician (ORT), is needed in Falls Church, Virginia. The selected candidate will join a busy surgical team performing a variety of procedures, including neuro, ortho, spine, and craniotomy surgeries. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Location: Falls Church, Virginia
• Specialty: Surgical Technician / Operating Room Technician (ORT)

• Schedule: Rotating shifts, 8 hours per day, with a 40-hour minimum per week
• Required Qualifications: Certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST), Virginia registration, BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA), no minimum experience required. Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Shift Details:
  • Weekday call: 2 shifts, 8 hours, scheduled from 23:30 to 07:00
  • Weekend call: 3 shifts, 12 hours, scheduled from 07:00 to 19:30 or from 19:00 to 07:30
• Additional Information:
  • Must have strong neuro/ortho spine and craniotomy experience, handling procedures ranging from simple one-level to complex multi-level surgeries, including spine tumors, neuro trauma, and deep brain stimulation (DBS) procedures.
  • Floating to other service lines in the main operating room as needed.
  • No shift expectations (such as 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.).
  • Weekend rotation every other weekend.
  • On-call expectations: 3 times per week.
  • Candidates must have Epic access; Epic modules are not needed.
