Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications. General automobile knowledge on various manufacturers. Test‑drive vehicles, test components and systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc. Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in order to stay abreast with the ever rapidly changing automotive technology. Keep store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur. Maintain an organized and clean service department. Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information. Valid driver’s license. Professional personal appearance. Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate solutions to others. Any other duties assigned. Integrity, a positive attitude and a strong work ethic required. Willing to learn mentality. CDK knowledge is helpful. Certification: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Automotive Service Tech Experience required. ASE certifications or equivalent certifications required. Physical Requirements: Be able to bend, stoop, kneel and lift to at least 50lbs. All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre‑employment testing to include background checks and MVR.
