PET/CT Technologist
We are seeking a skilled PET/CT Technologist in Hoboken, NJ for a contract position. The role involves working in an outpatient imaging setting with a consistent schedule from Monday to Thursday. The ideal candidate will have experience in conducting diagnostic imaging and managing patient care with a focus on quality and safety.
Perform PET and PET/CT scans and produce high-quality images.
Administer contrast and radiopharmaceuticals safely.
Screen patients for contraindications and consult with radiologists as necessary.
Maintain accurate records and complete exam paperwork.
Ensure the scan room is prepared and stocked.
Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly quality control.
Assist in training new PET technologists.
ARRT(N) and/or NMTCB certification.
Active state Nuclear Medicine license.
BLS certification.
Venipuncture training for contrast injection.
High school diploma or GED.
Preferred experience in an outpatient setting.
Preferred familiarity with power injectors and imaging systems.
