Overview
Registered Nurse – Med Surg in Bay City, Michigan, starting 07/27/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment. Weekly pay range: $1,760–$1,838 with 36 guaranteed hours per week. Shift: 3x12-hour nights. This position is in a hospital setting and may require float to other units as needed throughout the assignment.

Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments on admission and monitor condition trends during the stay
- Prepare, administer, and chart prescribed medications (including IVs) and manage wound care or specialized equipment
- Coordinate with physicians, case managers, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families on post-surgery care, medication schedules, and discharge instructions
- Recognize early signs of medical deterioration and respond quickly to stabilize patients; participate in emergency response as needed
- Adhere to unit policies and participate in float assignments to support patient needs

Requirements
- Active RN license in Michigan
- BLS (AHA) certification
- Minimum 2 years Med Surg and Telemetry experience
- Ability to work 3x12-hour night shifts and float to other units as required
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
