MRI Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing MRI scans and ensuring high-quality imaging for diagnostic purposes. The role requires a detail-oriented individual with a passion for patient care and advanced imaging techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct MRI examinations on patients, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and imaging standards.
  • Prepare patients for MRI procedures by explaining the process and addressing any concerns.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other medical professionals to provide accurate diagnostic information.
  • Maintain equipment functionality through regular checks and troubleshooting.
  • Follow infection control and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Assist in maintaining patient records and imaging reports as required.
Shift Information

This position requires an evening shift from 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM, with a scheduled rotation for every third Saturday and the potential for on-call duties every third week.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited MRI Technologist program.
  • Current MRI certification and state licensure as required.
  • Proficiency in operating MRI equipment and understanding imaging protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and healthcare team members.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
