Position: Commercial Maintenance Electrician
Location: Princeton, NJ
Pay Rate: $35.00/hour
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire

What You'll Do

As a Commercial Maintenance Electrician, you'll install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems throughout a commercial facility while ensuring equipment operates safely and reliably.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair commercial electrical systems, wiring, fixtures, outlets, and switches

• Troubleshoot electrical equipment, lighting, motors, and building systems

• Perform preventative maintenance and emergency electrical repairs

• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical drawings

• Install conduit, junction boxes, and wiring for building projects

• Support electrical systems for HVAC and other facility equipment

• Complete work orders and maintenance documentation

• Follow OSHA safety standards, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and company safety procedures

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

What We're Looking For

• High School Diploma or GED

• Licensed Electrician (Required)

• Valid Driver's License

• Minimum 4 years of commercial electrical experience after apprenticeship

• Experience troubleshooting commercial electrical systems

• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics

• Strong knowledge of commercial electrical installations and preventative maintenance

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship

Preferred Qualifications

• Commercial facilities maintenance experience

• Experience with HVAC electrical controls

• CMMS experience

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Pay Details: $35.00 per hour
