Machine Operator

Job Title: Manufacturing Machine Operator Location: Rogersville, TN

Position Type: Full-Time

Shift: Rotating 12-Hour Shift (2-2-3 "Pitman" Schedule)

Reports To: Shift Supervisor / Production Manager

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented, mechanically inclined Machine Operator to join our production team in Rogersville, TN. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining heavy-duty automated manufacturing machinery used to produce high-voltage copper winding wires and Continuously Transposed Conductors (CTC) for the global electrical power grid.

The ideal candidate possesses mechanical aptitude, takes pride in producing zero-defect work, and thrives in a fast-paced, safety-first industrial environment. This is a 6p-6a shift $18.25/hr

salary: $18.25 - $18.26 per hour
shift: Third
work hours: 6 PM - 6 AM
education: High School

Responsibilities

To be successful in this role, an operator generally needs a specific blend of traits:

• Mechanical Aptitude: A basic understanding of how gears, pulleys, rollers, and tension systems work together.

• Mathematical Competency: The ability to read fractions, decimals, and metric/standard measurements quickly and accurately.

• Stamina: The ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift on a concrete floor for the duration of a 12-hour shift.

• Tech Literacy: Comfort using computer screens to input data and navigate machine software.
