Production Assembler I

The Electrode Assembler is responsible for the assembly and fabrication of company products in accordance with applicable Bills of Material, drawings, and assembly procedures. This role performs work in a manner consistent with Enercon expectations and quality standards. This is a first-shift position working Monday-Friday with overtime during the week or on Saturdays as needed. Responsibilities Fabricate and assemble electrodes and other components according to specifications, blueprints, and quality standards. Completes adjustments and re-assembly as needed Use hand tools, power drills, and other power tools as needed to complete work Perform setup and operate milling machine as needed Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area. Report items of concern or opportunities to improve practices to the lead in the area Ensure tools are in good repair and proper working order Log production activity and completed work in ERP system as required Ensure a safe work environment. Demonstrates safe work practices, follows safety rules, and reports safety-related problems or opportunities as identified Perform other duties as assigned. Responsibilities include, but are not necessarily limited to, the tasks listed on this job description Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent At least 6 months fabrication experience in an assembly or manufacturing position Knowledge of general hand tool use and power machinery Skilled in the reading and interpreting of blueprints Experience with the metric system and the ability to read measuring devices, both in English and Metric Work independently and adapt to variations in fabrication with minimal supervision Ability to perform work while standing or stooping for up to two hours Lifting up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals Basic computer knowledge including basic ERP entries and other computer applications Why Enercon?
