Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist - $2630 per week.

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• High School completion preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).

• Local & travel allowed.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Medefis Program - Memorial Regional Health.

Additional Details:

Required Credentials: - Graduation from a COARC-approved Respiratory Care Program required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Pulmonary diagnostics preferred. - Cardiac diagnostics (EKG, Holter monitor, event monitor, cardiac stress testing) preferred.

Unit Details: - Provides respiratory care across emergency, neonatal, pediatric, geriatric, and critical care populations. - Responsibilities include mechanical ventilation monitoring, respiratory medication administration, patient assessment, hemodynamic monitoring, blood work interpretation, teaching, and training. - Performs airway management, including bag/mask ventilation, assisting with intubation, suctioning, and artificial airway care. - Performs arterial blood gas draws. - Initiates, maintains, and monitors ventilator patients; interprets flow-volume and pressure-volume curves to make appropriate clinical changes. - Uses cardiopulmonary equipment and performs assigned cardiopulmonary modalities.

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

Certifications:

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or the alternative certification CRT

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
