About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: CVICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: 18 months combined experience in specialty required License: Permanent Ohio license or compact license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: 18 months recent CVICU experience. Travel experience is acceptable. Reference from a manager or supervisor in the specialty required. Active required certifications need to be in hand at time of submission. Nurses and CSTs are exempt from nicotine-free facility requirements. Description: The position is for a Registered Nurse in the CVICU. Candidates must have 18 months of combined permanent experience in the specialty. Travel experience may be considered. Candidates must possess a valid Ohio license or a compact license. Active certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS are mandatory. The nurse will work night shifts, specifically from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Every other holiday must be worked as part of the position. Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate is required during orientation. Two attempts maximum to pass assessments; otherwise, the candidate may be canceled. Background checks will be conducted, and no open cases will be accepted. Candidates with any license issues will not be considered. Travelers must be nicotine-free, with a negative drug screen required within 12 months of start.
