Material Planner

Job Overview Trane Technologies is hiring a Material Planner in Clarksville, TN. The role ensures accurate material supply planning and manages customer expedite requests, working closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders. Responsibilities Maintain accurate purchase order data and supply plan within the ERP system. Modify order release due dates, quantities, and close purchase orders based on the demand plan. Conduct initial supplier coordination for customer expedite requests. Communicate timely with affected parties and escalates as appropriate. Monitor supplier delivery performance and resolve supply and delivery issues to maintain the supply plan. Work with suppliers to expedite or defer materials based on internal and external customer requirements and to achieve production and inventory goals. Participate in problem‑solving (9SPS / A3) and facility RIEs directed by the team leader or site material‑management leadership. Collect information, compile into standard formats, and prepare monthly and management reports as needed. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred, or 3–5years of experience in lieu of a degree. Knowledge of manufacturing, quality control, and planning processes. Microsoft Office suite experience is a plus. Ability to understand manufacturing engineering processes and interpret blueprints. Strong mathematical skills with clear oral and written communication. ERP system experience preferred. Compensation Annual Base Salary Range: $51,800.00 – $93,309.99. Salary type: Fixed.
