Crusher Mechanic - Extensive Travel Required

Build America's Future. What You’ll Do Promote safety by adhering to MSHA and Vulcan standards. Repair and maintain crushers, including assembly, disassembly, overhaul, repair, and adjustment of crushing and processing equipment. Welding experience required. Inspect equipment and structures daily to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant operations. Monitor processes and materials, especially in aggregate crushing, washing, and screening areas, to identify problems and maintain compliance. Document and record information, entering and maintaining service and lubrication reports for plant equipment. Perform general physical activities such as cleaning, washing, sweeping, and shoveling materials. Travel up to 90% of the time from Prince George, Virginia, to various Vulcan operations (New York to North Carolina), using a company vehicle Monday‑Friday; overnight stays required. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Experience in the aggregate or construction industry preferred. Knowledge of industrial crusher maintenance, construction, or aggregate production best practices. Flexibility to work overtime, extended hours, and various weather conditions; tolerance of loud noise. Mechanical skills: knowledge of industrial tools, their use and maintenance.
