Job Description Entry Level Architectural Design Professional to join our team in our Fairfax, VA office. Dewberry’s Architecture Practice has an exciting opportunity for the right individual to begin implementing their design and technical skills to support a variety of exciting clients and projects. Responsibilities Bachelor of Architecture or Masters of Architecture from an accredited university is required. Minimum of (1) year of internship experience with an architectural firm is required. Intern Development Program (IDP) process started with goal of licensure. Demonstrated experience with REVIT, Photoshop and Microsoft Office. Established digital and traditional rendering and graphics abilities. Knowledge of sustainable design principles is beneficial and LEED AP preferable. Excellent communication and presentation skills required. Required Skills & Required Experience Bachelor of Architecture or Masters of Architecture from an accredited university required. Minimum of (1) year of internship experience with an architectural firm is required. Intern Development Program (IDP) process started with ultimate goal of licensure. Competent in Revit (BIM), SketchUp and other modeling programs. Skillful in Creative Adobe Suite applications Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. Knowledge of sustainable design principles is beneficial, and LEED AP is a bonus. Excellent communication and presentation skills required. A design portfolio or sampling of work will be required. Must have a valid driver’s license, good driving record and ability to pass a driving record background check. Don't meet every single requirement? Depending upon other factors, i.e., skills, experience, location, market conditions, the range may vary slightly.
