Associate Chemist

Our client, a leading organization in the food and beverage industry, is seeking a dedicated Associate Chemist to join their team. As an Associate Chemist, you will be an integral part of the Quality Assurance Department supporting laboratory compliance and analytical testing initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, proactive problem‑solving skills, and a strong commitment to quality and safety standards, which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title: Associate Chemist Location: Fremont, MI Pay Range: What's the Job? Understand and implement all relevant laboratory compliance systems and procedures. Develop, validate, and execute new analytical methodologies to support quality and safety programs. Perform routine laboratory tests and analyses, ensuring accuracy and precision. Interpret data trends, prepare reports, and communicate findings effectively to support CAPA initiatives. Maintain laboratory instruments, troubleshoot issues, and perform minor repairs to ensure optimal operation. What's Needed? Experience with laboratory compliance systems and analytical testing methods. Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills. Ability to interpret and communicate complex data effectively. Proficiency in using Excel, QStat, or similar data analysis and charting tools. Knowledge of laboratory safety standards and regulatory requirements. What's in it for me?
