Contract | Night Shift | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for Labor and Delivery as well as Mother and Baby patients
• Care for women and neonates on a Level 1 unit, ensuring stabilization prior to continued care or transfer as appropriate
• Support an environment averaging approximately 20 deliveries per month
• Monitor and assess maternal and neonatal patients, intervening as clinically indicated
• Collaborate with the care team to coordinate safe transitions of care when transfer is required

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Maryland (or compact equivalent)
• A copy of a valid, unexpired driver's license must be submitted with all applications
• Experience in Labor and Delivery nursing
• Ability to work night shift
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a Level 1 obstetric unit
• Familiarity with Mother and Baby / postpartum care
• Experience with patient stabilization and coordination of transfer processes
