Overview
We are seeking a talented and innovative Mechanical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team in Gainesville, GA. As a key player in our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and developing cutting-edge mechanical systems and components. If you have a passion for engineering and a knack for problem-solving, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities- Design and develop mechanical components and systems using CAD software.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet project requirements and specifications.
- Conduct feasibility studies and simulations to validate design concepts.
- Prepare detailed engineering documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Support the manufacturing process by providing technical assistance and troubleshooting design-related issues.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to enhance design methodologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in mechanical design, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
