Physical Therapy Technician

Physical Therapy Technician Under the direct supervision of a Physical Therapist, the Physical Therapy Technician the person will be utilized in supervised patient treatments and in maintaining the PT department in a clean and orderly manner. Qualifications Minimum education: High school diploma or GED; relevant experience in lieu of High School Diploma/GED education will be considered. Graduation from a technical program preferred. Minimum work experience: Previous experience in Physical Therapy clinic preferred. Required licenses/certifications: Basic Life Support certification required through the American Heart Association or other pre-approved accredited certification program. Required skills, knowledge, and abilities: Knowledge of regulations, QA and procedures, and quality patient care. Successful completion department specific and/or hospital required training courses. Must be able to treat patients of all ages from pediatric to geriatric.
