About This Role The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department provides direct care to a variety of complex patients, focusing on achieving desired outcomes through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Highlights Location: Brick, NJ Facility: Hackensack Meridian Health Department/Unit: Emergency Department Schedule: Full-time, Night shift What You'll Do Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation. Perform age and disease-specific assessments independently. Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status. Identify patient/family education needs based on age and disease. Develop and coordinate a patient/family-focused plan of care. Communicate and implement the plan of care effectively. Provide ongoing communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Administer medications utilizing advanced bar-scanning technologies. Evaluate progress toward attainment of patient outcomes. Adhere to established protocols and document events accurately. Requirements Education Current and valid New Jersey Registered Nurse license required Experience 6+ months of acute care nursing experience required Emergency nursing experience preferred Licenses & Certifications BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association required #J-18808-Ljbffr
