Job Title

Registered Nurse – Neuro/PCU (Stepdown)

Location

Lancaster, SC

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12 or 4x12 Hours (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Neuro/PCU stepdown setting with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4–5
• Monitor and assess patients using telemetry competency and neurological assessment skills
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health record system
• Float within scope to meet unit needs, including like units, as required
• Participate in emergency response team assignments as directed, including during hurricane season (June–November)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Neuro/PCU or stepdown RN experience
• Active South Carolina RN license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start date
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• Demonstrated telemetry competency
• First-time travelers are not accepted for this position

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with Epic charting system
• Flexibility to accommodate varying schedule needs to support unit staffing requirements
