Registered Nurse ICU

ICU Nurse

Provide specialized nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in an ICU setting. Ensure patient safety and comfort while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver quality care.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver advanced nursing interventions to critically ill patients in ICU units.
• Monitor patient vital signs, adjust treatments, and document responses accurately.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and manage life support equipment.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to develop and update care plans.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN licensure in GA or a registered nursing license from a Compact state.
• At least 1 year of ICU nursing experience with adult and geriatric patients.
• Certifications in BLS and ACLS are required; NIH certification preferred.
• Proficiency in Epic Electronic Medical Record system, Pyxis, and SBAR reporting.
• Ability to float across ICU, PCU, MS, and Tele units with flexibility on scheduling.
