Responsibilities Assist branch in meeting monthly performance standards and maintain individual performance standards. Interview members, process applications for all types of consumer loans, and review application documentation for completeness and accuracy according to credit union compliance guidelines. Conduct all member account functions: process requests for new services, provide counseling, and cross‑sell appropriate credit union products or services to benefit the member and achieve established sales goals. Assist members with opening and closing accounts, answer questions about products and services, and resolve problems within authority or refer to supervisor with recommendations. Accurately receive, inspect, and verify cash and negotiable instruments for deposit; accept loan payments and other monetary transactions as directed and in accordance with established policies; balance transaction input at end of each workday. Maintain regular and predictable attendance. Perform additional job duties as assigned by the manager. Qualifications High school education or GED. Performance Measurements Within established authority, process member financial transactions, resolve problems, and answer questions regarding Y-12 Federal Credit Union products and services. Actively participate in branch/department and staff meetings to stay informed on organizational issues and promotional campaigns; remain current on policy, procedure, compliance, and product development changes. Attend continuing education classes to enhance job knowledge and performance, provide exceptional service to members, take initiative for personal career development, and seek opportunities to learn new skills. Physical Demands The position requires regular speaking, hearing, and sitting. It also involves standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching. Occasional lifting or moving of items over 15 pounds may be required. Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment ability.
