This travel nursing opportunity allows you to expand your repertoire by managing a range of cardiac interventions, interventional radiology cases, and electrophysiology procedures. You'll collaborate with top medical teams, adapting to diverse protocols and gaining exposure to the latest technology in cardiac imaging and vascular intervention-including Siemens Artis, EKOS, and CSI systems.


Schedule/Hours

• 40-hour work week, 10-hour shifts (07:00 - 17:30)
• Call: 8 weekdays and 2 weekends per 6-week period; occasional additional call
• Float: Flexibility required to float, including potential shifts at nearby facilities
• Weekend Coverage: 2 weekends every 6 weeks
• Maximum of 7 days off allowed during a 13-week contract

Core Qualifications & Experience

• Current RN license with ACLS and BLS certifications
• RCIS certification highly preferred
• Minimum of 3-4 scrub procedures; must be able to circulate
• Prior experience in:
  • Cardiac Cath Lab: Balloon angioplasty, stents, thrombectomy, filter placement, pacemaker/defibrillator device placement, left/right heart catheterizations
  • Interventional Radiology: Stents, angioplasty, vascular studies, hemodynamic monitoring, upper/lower extremity interventions
  • Electrophysiology: Cardioversion, pacemaker insertion
• Proficiency with: Epic, Pyxis, Mac Lab, SBAR; Siemens Artis 1 x-ray system
• IV start skills preferred

Responsibilities

• Serve adult and geriatric patient populations with complex cardiac and vascular needs
• Scrubbing and monitoring in STEMI, peripheral vascular, EP insertions/change outs, and advanced thrombectomy cases
• Support workflow efficiency, collaborate within multidisciplinary care teams, and provide exceptional patient care
