In this role, you will contribute to the planning, design, and delivery of sports and recreation facilities—supporting projects that range from competitive stadiums and multi-use athletic complexes to community fields and training venues.We are open to candidates across Upstate New York, Western Massachusetts, and Western Connecticut who are eager to help shape impactful sports and recreation destinations that enrich communities.What You'll Do:Independently complete engineering design, technical analysis, and preparation of plans, specifications, and reports for sports facility projects including athletic field layouts, playing surfaces, spectator amenities, and supporting infrastructureDevelop design calculations, technical memorandums, and construction documents under the guidance of senior engineers or technical leadershipIdentify and resolve technical discrepancies, applying standard engineering practices and relevant codes, standards, and permitting requirements specific to athletic and recreation facilitiesMonitor project progress and coordinate design efforts to support schedules, budgets, and overall project deliveryTake responsibility for significant portions of sports facility projects with oversight from senior staff or managementWhat You Bring:Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering requiredMinimum of 3 years of related engineering experience requiredExperience on construction project sites, interfacing with client and contractorStrong working and theoretical knowledge in the respective engineering discipline with a proven ability to apply engineering knowledge in practical settingsUnderstanding of QA/QC procedures and regulatory standardsProficiency with AutoCAD as well as Microsoft Office requiredExcellent communication skills and a collaborative mindsetEngineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or Professional Engineer (PE) license preferredParticipation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferredWhy You'll Love It Here:Work alongside architects, engineers, and designers on innovative sports facility projectsContribute to athletic venues that support performance, community engagement, and memorable experiences Grow your career while contributing to high‑visibility, high‑impact projects across the sports industryCurious about the impactful work our Sports team is doing?
