Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM | Every Other Friday, 8:00 AM–12:00 PM
Pay: $40/hour
License Required: Active Dental Hygiene License

Our client is seeking a compassionate and patient-focused Dental Hygienist to join their growing dental practice in Hopkinsville, KY.

In this role, you'll provide high-quality preventive dental care, educate patients on oral health, and work alongside an experienced clinical team committed to delivering exceptional patient experiences.

What You'll Do

• Perform preventive dental hygiene services, including prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, and polishing
• Assess periodontal health and accurately document clinical findings
• Take dental radiographs and administer local anesthesia within your scope of practice
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and long-term dental health
• Maintain accurate patient charts and treatment documentation
• Follow infection control, sterilization, and OSHA safety protocols
• Collaborate with dentists and team members to provide outstanding patient care
• Participate in daily team huddles and assist with reviewing the hygiene schedule

What You'll Bring

• Active Dental Hygiene license in good standing
• Experience providing comprehensive dental hygiene care (new graduates are encouraged to apply)
• Strong communication and patient education skills
• Ability to accurately assess and document periodontal conditions
• Experience taking dental radiographs and administering local anesthesia (where permitted)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality patient care
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented practice

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a busy dental practice
• Experience with dental practice management software or scheduling systems
• Knowledge of current dental hygiene techniques and emerging technologies
• Bilingual communication skills
• Radiography and local anesthesia certifications, as required by Kentucky regulations
