Details Cath Lab unit performing left and right diagnostic and interventional heart caths, pacemaker and AICD implants, loop recorders, Impellas, balloon pumps, TEEs, cardioversions, and tilt table testing Cares for STEMI patients with a 1:1 patient ratio Uses IV pumps, groin and radial sheaths, Impellas, balloon pumps, IVUS, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, Zoll monitors, and hemodynamic systems Utilizes Epic for charting Schedule is 8a-4:30p Monday-Friday, 3x12s totaling 36 hours per week STEMI call required minimum one day per week and every 4th weekend Must reside within 30 minutes of the facility for call coverage Requirements Active RN license (IN or Compact) Current BLS and ACLS certifications Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience Epic charting experience required Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required Skilled in Impella operation, balloon pump operation, TEE, cardioversion, tilt table testing, and peripheral IV access Additional Information Responsible for assessing, developing, implementing, and evaluating individualized patient care plans Provides patient and family education related to STEMI care, treatment, and discharge planning Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams and delegates tasks to licensed and non-licensed staff Mentors and precepts staff while participating in quality, safety, and service improvement initiatives Must reside within a 30-minute radius of the facility to support STEMI call requirements American Traveler Job ID P-750032.
