About the Position

The South Texas Veterans Health Care System is seeking a compassionate and skilled Primary Care Physician to join our Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT). As a PACT physician, you will have the opportunity to work with our nation's heroes, providing them with the high-quality care they deserve. You will also have the chance to live in San Antonio, TX, a vibrant and diverse city with a lot to offer.

Responsibilities

\n
• Manage a panel of patients.
\n
• Provide preventive care.
\n
• Diagnose and treat illnesses.
\n
• Coordinate care with other specialists.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions and treatment options.
\n

Qualifications

\n
• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
\n
• Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
\n
• Valid unencumbered state medical license
\n
• Strong clinical skills
\n
• Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills
\n
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
\n
