Role Description The Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care and clinical support in our Surgical and Medical Dermatology Office located in Liverpool, NY. This full-time role includes preparing patients for visits and procedures, obtaining health histories and vital signs, assisting with dermatological examinations and minor procedures, and performing wound care and patient education on treatment plans and skincare. The nurse will administer medications and injections as ordered, document care accurately in the medical record, and coordinate follow-up appointments and referrals. Daily responsibilities also include maintaining exam room readiness, supporting infection control and safety protocols, collaborating with dermatologists and other team members, and responding to patient questions in person and by phone.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State and graduation from an accredited nursing program

• Experience in dermatology, outpatient clinic, or other ambulatory care setting preferred
\n
• Strong clinical assessment, patient education, and wound care skills
\n
• Ability to perform and assist with dermatological procedures, injections, and medication administration in accordance with practice protocols
\n
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR), documentation, and basic computer skills
\n
• Effective communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills with patients and colleagues
\n
• Commitment to infection control, patient safety, and confidentiality standards (including HIPAA compliance)
\n
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy clinical environment
\n
• CPR/BLS certification required; additional certifications related to dermatology or outpatient care are a plus

• Willingness to learn new procedures and adapt to evolving practice needs and guidelines
