Certified Medication Aide (CMA) - Geriatrics

Medical Assistant – Outpatient

Schedule: Days, 8 hours, 40 per week

Assignment Details: Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week Contract Weeks: 8

Requirements:

• Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification may be required.
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting is desirable.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide non-invasive, routine technical support services under the supervision of licensed healthcare professionals.
• Assist in patient intake and document medical histories.
• Prepare and administer medications as directed by the supervising provider.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the healthcare facility.
• Assist with patient education and provide instructions as needed.
• Support staff with various administrative duties as required.
