Admin Support - Retail Operations - Atlanta Division | Publix Super Markets, Inc.

The purpose of this position is to provide administrative support as a receptionist for the Atlanta Division Office, assist with the Division Vice President's Office, and provide administrative support to the Regional Directors and District Managers. The purpose of this position also provides support to other Atlanta Division staff members as needed. The responsibilities listed on this position analysis are not intended to be all-inclusive, and additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• performing reception duties at the Atlanta Division office
• screening/granting/securing access for associates/customers/vendors/visitors entering building
• ordering, receiving, and maintaining all office supplies from external businesses/printing services
• opening, sorting, and distributing mail received daily at the office
• other administrative duties to assist the office of the Divisional Vice President

Required Qualifications:

• An excellent attendance and punctuality record
• Professional telephone etiquette
• Outstanding interpersonal skills
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft office programs, such as Outlook, Word, Excel, Publisher, and PowerPoint.
• Working knowledge of Publix's structure, mission, guarantee, and general operations
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills (including grammar and spelling)
• Ability to work with and be exposed to highly confidential information and matters
• Organizational and time management skills, detail oriented, including the ability to multi-task
• Problem solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment while handling a high volume of work accurately
• High school diploma or its equivalent
• Basic knowledge of office equipment and operation
• Ability to use a multi-line phone
• Knowledge of general office practices and procedures
• Enthusiasm, initiative, pride in work

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least one year of clerical or office administration experience with MS Office experience

Hours of Work: 7:30AM - 4:30PM Monday through Friday

Frequency of Pay: Weekly

Minimum Base Pay: 17.45

Maximum Base Pay: 24.25

Potential Annual Base Pay: 36,296 - 50,440

Year End Bonus: To reward associates for their contributions to the company for the calendar year, Publix provides a Holiday Bonus in November. In the first year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to 15 hours of pay, and in the second year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to one week's pay if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check. In subsequent years, the bonus is equal to two weeks' pay.
