ABOUT OUR AGENCY:
I opened my agency in 2015 after spending 25 years coaching college football, an experience that shaped the strong team culture we have today. Our office now includes 10 team members, and we operate with the same principles that make great teams successful: communication, trust, effort, and a genuine commitment to one another.

I graduated from Tarleton State University, and Im a husband and father of three who still loves everything about football. We also stay active in the community by sponsoring two fellowships for local athletes, supporting young people as they grow both on and off the field.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Erik Slaughter - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
• Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
• Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
• Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
• Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
• Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
• Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
