Surgical Technologist

This position requires a certified surgical technologist for pediatric cardiac surgery. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the specialty. The shift will consist of four 10-hour days from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Call requirements include 1 to 2 call days per week and two 48-hour weekend call shifts every 4-6 weeks. Response time for on-call is expected to be within 30 minutes. All requests for time off must be submitted at the time of application. A maximum of 5 days off is allowed, and block scheduling requests are not permitted except for weekends. Candidates must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19; no exemptions will be accepted. Familiarity with the Epic charting system is preferred. References from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required. Candidates may be required to float within the healthcare facility. An additional background check may be necessary on the first day of employment.
