You'll be: Sorting corn to maintain quality of seed and removing discard waste Identifying off-type ears, immature or moldy ears, insect damage, crop debris, and junk Abiding by safety policies/procedures and wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Maintaining cleanliness of the work environment (sweeping, removing debris, etc.) Moving undamaged seed forward in the drying process to increase quality and reduce foreign material This job might be an outstanding fit if you: Can stand or sit for long periods and traverse stairs Have good eyesight and can clearly communicate in English Have reliable transportation and consistent attendance Are comfortable working in an environment with exposure to dust and corn dust Can wear closed toe shoes, long pants, and short sleeve shirts Are able to pass a drug screen prior to start Hold a high school diploma or equivalent (preferred, not required) #J-18808-Ljbffr Kelly Services
