Manufacturing Accountant

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include , but are not limited to : Enters invoices into ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system. Schedules, Processes, and records payments to suppliers. Works closely with internal staff to resolve issues while observing confidentiality. Responsible for weekly management & reconciliation of company credit cards. Processes customer invoices & cash receipts. Performs weekly inventory reconciliations & assists with year-end physical counts. Assists with month-end closings & account reconciliations. Assists with bank reconciliations. Assists with external audit requests. Other duties as assigned. Physical Requirements: Extended screen time Long periods of sitting Potentially long hours Supervisory Responsibilities : None. Travel Required : N/A Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance Experience in a manufacturing or job-costing environment strongly preferred Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, & financial reporting Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, data analysis) Microsoft Office software and Windows operating s ystem Familiarity with fixed assets, depreciation, cost accounting concepts, & EBIDTA Ability to work with large data sets & perform detailed reconciliations Understanding of internal controls & audit processes Familiarity with federal contractor requirements preferred Ability to thrive in a changing, fast-paced growing and dynamic business Detail oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously S trong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organization skills and attention to detail Note : This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee(s) of this position .
