Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend | 13-Week Assignment with Possible Extension

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Nephrology-focused Medical Surgical floor
• Manage a patient ratio of 1:6 or 1:7 during night shift hours
• Perform IV starts and utilize telemetry monitoring as needed
• Operate at an intermediate level within a fast-moving med-surg environment
• Adhere to unit dress code; royal blue scrubs required (not provided)

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license (if license is pending, proof that the process is underway may be considered)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of one (1) year of recent Medical Surgical experience
• Proficiency in IV starts and FM-Intermediate skill level
• Minimal time-off requests; any RTO must be disclosed at time of submission, particularly around holidays
• Must live more than 30 miles from the facility to be eligible as a travel candidate; candidates residing within 31–50 miles may be accepted at a local rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification preferred
• Telemetry experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
