The ideal candidate must meet the following requirements./ppEssential Duties And Responsibilities:/pulliPerforming inspections, maintenance, and recharging of extinguishers shall be certified./liliMust be knowledgeable of the code requirements of NFPA 10 2022 Edition and the authority having jurisdiction./liliPersonnel making manual inspections shall keep records of all fire extinguishers inspected, including those found to require corrective action./liliWhen an inspection of any fire extinguisher reveals a deficiency in any of the conditions in 7.2.2 or 7.2.2.4, immediate corrective action shall be taken./liliThis person will be responsible for quoting all repairs needed from the inspections./liliPerform thorough inspections every time and in a timely manner./liliBeing a team player./liliCustomer satisfaction is a must./li/ulpJob Qualifications:/pulliMust possess within 30 days of hire: Inspection/Trade License(s) or Certificate(s) of Registration for Fire Extinguishers Training./liliStrong working knowledge of life safety and NFPA codes/liliWilling to perform testing and maintenance/liliWilling to comply with our safety policies and procedures/liliAbility to work in a high stress and often dirty (dry chemical fire extinguisher agent, or inside manufacturing plants) environments/liliAble to complete documentation as necessary; proficient in the use of an iPad tablet/liliWilling to coordinate between inspection deficiencies and service required to correct found deficiencies/liliCapability to present information and respond to questions from managers, customers, AHJs./liliValid state Drivers License required./liliWilling to pass post-offer drug screen, reference and background check./li/ulpPhysical Demands And Work Environment:/pulliRegular bending, reaching, climbing and walking./liliMostly a physical demanding role./liliMay need to lift objects up to 50 pounds./liliAbility to be on the phone and computer consistently throughout the day./li/ulpThis position is not eligible for sponsorship./ppAll offers of employment are expressly contingent upon the satisfactory completion, in accordance with Company policy, of a pre-employment drug screening and background check./ppInternational Fire Protection is committed to complying with all laws prohibiting discrimination in employment and to providing equal employment opportunity to applicants and employees without discrimination on the basis of sex/gender, age, disability, race, color, ethnicity, religion, creed, national origin, military/veteran status, or other protected characteristics as defined by local, state, and federal law.
